2016 was one of the best and worst years of my life. After getting married in January, I found myself broke with a huge pile of debts by June. I lost my sportswear business, and so did my mental health. Depression, anxiety, and hopelessness crippled my life.

It was a humbling experience overall. All I could do then was to cry, pray, and start over again. If there’s one thing that saved me, it’s this: learning. I finished more books in six months that year than when I was in elementary, high school, and college combined. I also attended classes and listened to hundreds of podcast episodes about business and finance.

By God’s grace, in 2017 I was back on track. I started an online transportation service that sustained our family until it was closed down by Covid-19 in 2020. But I have already learned my lessons. In a few months, I was able to pivot to the Chromebook business.

Currently, my wife and I operate a total of five businesses at home. I can’t be thankful enough for the opportunity to work and be with my family at the same time.

I have shared more about my story in these posts:
